About

Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Jeffrey Aviles is an illustrator/ graphic designer who is obsessed with the 80’s. So much so he works on his fitness watching Jazzercise workout videos (they’re actually brutal!)

Jeffrey has been an illustrator since birth. At home he would doodle on walls, countless of notebooks and when he fill those up he’d doodle on his parents vinyl record dust jackets (many spankings ensued). Growing up, he continued to draw until slowly but surely he sharpened his skills both in school and by observing and learning from works of his favorite artists like Glen Hanson, Craig McCracken, Stephen Silver and the stylings of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera to name a few. Once he started sharing his work on social media, he began to grow a following from people all over the world who enjoy and support his artwork.

Jeffrey’s works are fun, playful and explode with color and sexuality. Jeffrey is extremely versatile with his artwork. He offers logos, caricatures, packaging design, Ads, tattoo designs and even a little bit of 3D modeling (still learning)

He is proficient in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and from time to time also works in After Effects.

Jeffrey’s method of creating is sketching out then inking and coloring his designs and illustrations in Procreate and then transfers them over to Illustrator, and Photoshop if needed, to add other elements such as stylized texts, borders, backgrounds and more depending on his vision to complete the design.

In early 2021 Jeffrey launched a new artwork series titled “HUNK” which quickly became popular and a distinctive staple of his name. Hunk is a series where Jeffrey pulls inspiration from vintage 80’s naughty and male physique magazines that show off the male form and tasteful erotic images. The art style of Hunk is simple shapes and lines that capture rippling muscles and the softness and fluffiness of chest and pubic hair. To say the least, The Gays™ can’t get enough of it!

Following that, in 2022 he joined the team as a freelance artist at Commando which is an ad agency based in West Hollywood that creates various ads that clients such as Grindr, Tik-Tok and Tinder request.

His work has also been featured in a Grindr article about daddies (sexayyy) Which blew up on social media and gained him more followers of his artwork.

As of recently Jeffrey has also created a new series titled Meet The Artist in which he interviews different artists and creators live on Instagram in hopes that their followers can get to know the artists in a much deeper level so that they can see the artist reflected in their artwork and appreciate it that much more.

If you’re looking to have Jeffrey take on your project don’t be afraid he doesn’t bite, unless you get in the way of a slice of cheesecake, contact him today and let the magic begin!
